Congrats to me~!!
With Tan's help, i found out that i recently got promoted, my new rank is Corporal, now can wear lanyard with wisel and ambil baris at 2359 in berek bujang. Even the Corporal at UGAT was shocked to find out that an officer who's attending an oversea course is receiving an allowance of MYR 100 per month. Dah la my gaji after deduction of housing, loans and servicing other retired offr's bad loans (guarantor) gaji bersih is like a lans koperal. Not bad enuf, they are paying me elaun Koperal.
Best of all, OPLAT told me its because i'm chinese, where the other officers that are attending Staff College here are being paid MYR 500/mth. Initially OPLAT suggested allowances of MYR 1038.08 (consists of elaun bantuan makan, bantuan runcit and bantuan messing) up to the approval of the treasury of course. Later OPLAT told me that the treasury didn't approve mine simply because a chinese, because there shouldn't be any messing problems for me. The allowance had actually been credited into my account on Dec, but i didn't even noticed it, thought it was my official duty claims which is more than that.
Its not fair, since when the Army or even the govt has racial scheme of allowances? Besides, being a chinese or malay in China makes no difference, we are malaysian and the foods here sux! Furthermore all PLA colleges and trg ctr that has foreign students serves only halal foods, even no beef because of the asian buddhist students.
If its because the other students are of the rank of a Major, then mine also officially thru, being LPK(L1), TKB had published my rank and am receiving Maj salary now, its just that ceremonially not done yet.

Calling OPLAT cost too much for my MYR 100. And OPLAT's amazingly mantap n uncompromised, tight security's email at YAHOO appears to be not active or their staffs are too busy to read it. Yes, TD has PUSTEKMA, KOMLEK and whatever RPS but the email add which is written in the Course Instr is: oplat_latih@yahoo.com must be the Army is adopting the new IT Warfare strategy of 'u can't hack us if we dun't have an email server'.
What u guys reckon i shud do, seriously, advice?

take the first flight bac....and start preparing for papers to leave the army!!! haha.. i was talking to my clerk earlier and just realised that i onli have till june next year to submit those papers.. haha.... am all set!!
Wah..to leave service kena submit paper ka? I just let my ROD go by..which is why 4 years later JRP called me asking me where I did my peralihan because they needed to publish my PERBAH II.
Anyway what's with this racist policy? I don't see that in the tangga gaji dan elaun! You wanna bring this up to MENTAH?
Talk about paying off retired officers' bad loans, masa ops in South Thailand, one army officer borrowed my baling-kena-anjing-mati handphone to call Malaysia and promised to settle the bill, never did so until now. He's now a Brig Jen.

not papers actually... just some surat for formality sake lar... haha... and tell UGAT and JRP that we are leaving so that they dun kokap last minute and come back to us after 4 years.......it would be good to start drafting the letters and look at it everyday so that we are more semangat to leave... hahaha.....

Kalau Indian officers hantar India mesti lagi jimat. Elaun uniform boleh stop altogether. Pakai kain putih dua helai aje. Itulah No.3, No.1, No.5, No.8, No.4, PT kit. Kalau Corporal macam Choy kasi dua calit kapur kat dahi, Sjn kasi tiga. LtM kasi satu red dot aje kat dahi. Senang. Mejar macam Ming kasi besar sikit dia punya merah.

Choy, you're obviously being discriminated here! Write to the highest authority and give them a 1 month deadline. By 1 month no reply whatsoever, write to lim-kit-siang. I'm sure he's more than happy to publish this in his' blog.
No doubt you're a soldier and there's certain protocols u need to adhere to but if you're denied your rights, you have every right to voice it out. Unless you're telling me being a soldier means you do not have any more rights.
Well i actually brought this matter to the attention of OPLAT n my Jab Arah Arty aroung Oct 06. My SO2 Kerjaya Peg told me he did an appeal letter n hope 4 the best! Duh? coughing on staircase. As 4 OPLAT, cant get thru to SO2s, only SO3 Ex, Ithnin Kawi, yeah that old man only told me how much n reasons why sikit n said perhaps he would look it up n buat rayuan 4 me, and now he's fedup with my nuisance(dunt reply sms at all) and even fedup with tan 4 calling him like 12 times a day! hahaha.
Before gua kecoh, waiting 4 tan's cfmation on how much the others are really getting, need BnW 1st then i would have a case. Mean time im trying jab arty again, Mej Lim SW (RRR) who is SO2 Risik China and also accidental Col Doctrine Mk Lat TD, Stephen Mundaw, somebody fwd my email to him, he replied n would put a word thru 4 me.

I would rather write to Lim Kit Siang instead of Kenny Sia. There are more quality readers in Lim's blog than Kenny's. Quality meaning people who have higher chances of bringing your matters up and making a big fuss about it, even for a short period of time, just so that people are aware of it. I guess I'm the only commoner/civilian who knows about what's going on in the army, sorta.
So maybe you can ask Tan to write to Lim Kit Siang, see whether Lim will post it up his' blog, which I think he will - this is a good case.

hahaha yeah nothing new la. 2day, my jab arty actually called me until i answered (was in class) and got a nice scolding fm SO2, it seemed that col stephen called up my dte and said something. Since he's RRR, jab arty not happy saying that i didnt went thru em n involved outsiders...??? duh? i've been contacting SO2 kerjaya which 2day happened to be very nice n quiet (kinda tells me that he didn't send the appeal letters).
Anyway, they told me that treasury cfm that the salary differences are because the other students are muslim while i'm not....duh? so? and the civilian guy at treasury who didn't approve mine is a chinaman......hahaha...great. My jab arty now asking them to reply it in writtings. Then they can open up a new file n pile it up with the rest of the other files in those large heavy dusty metal cabinets.
so how now bro? still want me to get the payslip copy? later they said u minta tolong RER pula!! hahahahahahahahah
